Every organization is prone to crisis. Research states that 50% of organizational crisis occur due to action or inaction by leaders. Yet, leading before, during, and post-crisis is left out of leadership education and lacks extensive empirical research. Crisis managers understand how to manage the crisis event.  However, the goal of effective crisis leaders is two-fold: 1. identify and avert the looming crisis, and 2. if averting the crisis is not possible, then lead in such a way that business recovery means the organization emerges stronger, healthier and more resilient than pre-crisis.  This session will simulate all five stages of crisis management and engage the participants in various roles within an organization and their responsibility in averting managing, and recovery of crisis.
